Attempts in Blender to make organic environments, using transparency shaders to create leaves and foliage effects in Cycles. For the tree trunks I used a method of blending two textures together; one of tree bark and another of moss to create a basic but nice effect. Following this I had a go at making a running water effect using a Displacement modifier on a plane, then linking it to an invisible object that controlled the direction of water movement.
